This Custom Made Guitar from BCGuitars is a little like the Cadillac of Stratocasters. Features a US Solid Mahogany Wood with a beautiful quilt maple top, high grade Birdeye Maple wood neck with a very dark Rosewood Fretboard. The Wilkinson Bridge is very popular with players who are burned out on locking tremolos. It Provides all the stability of a Floyd Rose® System, but without all the constant maintenance, setups, and headaches. When used in conjunction with the Fender® LSR roller nut and Planet Waves® locking tuners on this guitar, you can hang off the whammy bar and it will stay in tune!
The Bluestrat is fitted electronically with EMG SPC and EXG active tone circuits, the SPC is a midrange boost with a slight high end roll off, designed to simulate a dual coil tone from a single coil pickup. The EXG Boosts the Low and High frequencies while expanding the Mid to make the tone bright and full. The guitar is powered by 3 EMG SA single coil Strat Pickups. The pickups and the tone circuits together are the exact inner workings used by David Gilmour of Pink Floyd on his Main Stage Strat (The Red One).
The sound of this strat as you can imagine is very close (if not identical) to David Gilmours sound, very clean and Very Precise.
