This replica is based on the Epiphone Les Paul Custom platform, simply for the reason that nobody has the balls to do this to a Gibson Les Paul Custom. This is a replica of the infamous "Rebel 1 guitar " used by Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society & Ozzy Osbourne band. Zakk calls this guitar a "Work in Progress". If you have followed Zakk Wylde's career you know that this guitar has taken on several different incarnations, one of the earlier ones going all the way back to 1991 in the "No More Tears" music video.
With the exception of the bottlecaps (which are nailed in with small finishing nails like Zakk's), the guitar is done entirely in a faux finishing paint technique emulating the woodgrain, and burn marks (From where Ozzy set the guitar on fire in a parking lot somewhere).
Based on the original Les Paul design, the Epiphone Les Paul Custom Electric guitar has gold hardware, set mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. Packed with Active EMG 81 and 85
