1. LIMITED WARRANTY
Beyond Custom Guitars, Inc. warrants its guitars to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one year from the date of purchase. The obligation of this warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing any part defective. Please inspect for any flaws or discrepancies BEFORE you drill, file, paint or otherwise modify your purchase, as Beyond Custom Guitars, Inc. may NOT be held liable for any work done on merchandise later found to be defective, nor may customer-modified items be accepted for repair. In no case shall Beyond Custom Guitars be liable for any consequential damages for breach of this or any other warranty, expressed or implied, whatsoever.
Beyond Custom Guitars may not be held responsible for any return shipping costs to us. Under no circumstances will Beyond Custom Guitars be held responsible for Customs, Duties, VAT or any other taxes or fees. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of your receipt and return authorization number and must be shipped postage prepaid.
This one year warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties, obligations or liabilities. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE ONE YEAR DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN LIMITED WARRANTY. ANY ACTION FOR BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY MUST BE BROUGHT WITHIN A PERIOD OF 12 MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. No agent, representative, dealer or employee of the Company has the authority to increase or alter the obligations of this warranty.
2. SATISFACTION GUARANTEE AND RETURNS
As our product is complete custom made to your order, exclusive, and sometimes limited, we cannot offer a traditional return policy. If, however, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will back up our work, Provided there is a case for your dissatisfaction, we will be happy to discuss a repair or alteration to your purchase. This discussion must take place within seven (7) days of receipt of your Original purchase. Guitars and bodies with custom alterations, modifications or colors other than available on this website are non-refunable. Any shipping charges involved will NOT be refunded. Modifying your items voids this 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee.
BCGuitars uses a clearcoat on all custom orders very similar to the topcoats used at major guitar manufacturers and custom shops and they are just as durable. One difference is that our finishes are taken down by hand to a 2500 grit finish where most other manufacturers are machine sanded down to 1000-1500. This process results in a much higher and glassy shine but also will expose more of the natural and human flaws in the topcoat (these flaws only become apparant when closely examining the finish in just the right light at just the right angle). It is important to remember when making your purchase that we are in the business of creating functional art and not flawless topcoats. We feel the beifits of rand-rubbing our finishes down to 2500 grit far outweigh the drawbacks.
3. ORDER ADDITIONS, CHANGES, AND CANCELLATIONS
You are welcome to call us to discuss additions, changes and cancellations to your order, and to help you with those as best we can here are our policies:
• Additions - We will gladly help you with additions to your existing Beyond Custom Guitars order at a $25 minimum.
• Changes – For obvious reasons, depending on how far along your custom order is, you may not be able to change an existing order. If possible, when changing an existing order, a $45 Change Order Fee will apply.
• Cancellations– Again, for obvious reasons, depending on how far along your custom order is, you may not be able to cancel an existing order. If possible, when canceling an order, a $100 Cancellation Fee will apply.
4. PAYMENT TERMS
Internet orders may be paid for using PayPal and Google Checkout. If you speak to us about your order, you may be approved, at our discretion, to pay by money order, cashier’s check, or personal check by mail. Call 772-359-1347, Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-9:00 PM. Outside of those hours, you may leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible. All pay-by-mail orders are subject to a 10-business-day hold. Cash is not a payment option that we accept at this time.
5. SHIPPING, CUSTOMS, and TAXES
All items purchased from Beyond Custom Guitars are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items passes to you upon our delivery to the carrier. All shipments are fully insured through the carrier. If your shipment is damaged by the carrier, we will be happy to file an insurance claim or arrange an investigation for you and provide the shipper with any pertinent paperwork needed for the investigation, but the risk of damage while in the shipper’s possession passes to you and we are not responsible for repair, replacement, or refunding your purchase.
Beyond Custom Guitars, Inc. offers free shipping to any order over $300.00 to the lower 48 contiguous states. This offer is subject to change at any time at the discretion of Beyond Custom Guitars, Inc.
Locations outside the 48 contiguous states, including APO addresses and International shipping, are not automated in the BCGuitars.com e-store. Beyond Custom Guitars will determine the charge after the order is placed, and will charge shipping separately. By ordering at the BCGuitars.com e-store, customers shipping outside the USA agree to be charged without advance notification of the shipping charge. Beyond Custom Guitars will notify the customer by email of the shipping charges after they have placed their order. We will be happy to provide a shipping quote for international shipments prior to placing your order.
All delivery times are measured in business days.
We do NOT collect or calculate tariffs, duties and/or VAT which may be charged to customers outside of the United States. If you live outside of the United States and wish to know what amounts you will be charged in the way of tariffs, duties, and/or VAT, we recommend that you contact your local authorities to ask for this information. Do NOT ask Beyond Custom Guitars, Inc. to alter any customs forms or paperwork of any kind to lessen or relieve the fees you are responsible for when you receive shipment. Please be aware of your Country’s size limitations, as we will NOT be held responsible for the non-deliverability of an item due to shipping size or other customs restrictions.
We ship via UPS and USPS and send all shipments basic ground unless stated otherwise. If you require special delivery options, we will be happy to accommodate, such as expedited shipping or Saturday delivery, etc., provided you pay the additional fees involved above and beyond our offer. These options must be discussed in advance by phone.
All packages are fully insured and if a tracking number is applicable, it will be provided to the customer via e-mail after delivery to the carrier.
We only ship to addresses on file with Paypal, Google Checkout or provided to us with your pay-by-mail payment. This is to protect customers and our company due to the high amount of fraud with online purchases related to musical instruments. If your shipping address is not on file you need to provide it to the online payment service prior to ordering from us.
6. PRIVACY AND SECURITY POLICY
When you visit the BCGuitars.com website, Beyond Custom Guitars receives and collects certain information depending on what you do and how your browser security is set. The information we automatically capture provides us the ability to enhance your search and shopping experience and gives us data on overall customer usage patterns.
How Your Information Is Used
Proper Order Fulfillment – correct billing and shipping address, email account, and phone number provided through Paypal or Google Checkout are required for accurate fulfillment of your order.
Law Enforcement Agencies – Beyond Custom Guitars, Inc. may release personal customer information when we believe, in our good judgment, that such release is reasonable and necessary to comply with law enforcement and to protect the rights, property, or safety of Beyond Custom Guitars, Inc., our users, or others.

Security is not necessary on our site, as we do not solicit any personal information of any kind. •Discrepancies in web demos and finished product
Product demo pictures in the estore at www.bcguitars.com are used for demonstration only and may have very slight discrepancies with the finished product in art pattern or coloration depending on computer monitor color callabration body/neck style, layout, Clearcoat Thickness and other factors.
•Modifications to Prices or Billing Terms
Beyond Custom Guitars, Inc. reserves the right, at any time, to change its prices and billing methods for products or services sold, effective immediately upon posting on the site or by email delivery to you.
•Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Beyond Custom Guitars, Inc. and its owners, affiliates, officers, directors and employees from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys fees, made by any third party arising out of or related to your violation of this Conditions of Use, or your violation of any law, regulation or third-party right.
